A GREAT WEEKEND OF GARDENING!
The Gardening Australia Expo in Sydney was on last weekend and was a great success. The new stages are working beautifully - the Organic Circle sees 3 GA presenters cover everything you need to know about vegie gardening - from soil and compost, to planting to controlling pests and diseases.

In The Potting Shed a range a techniques were shown on how to make life easier for you in the garden - and some expo goers even got to get up on stage with the presenters to help with the demonstration! The other standout stage at Sydney was Backyard Creatures, where everyone got to hear talks on all the good things wildlife and insects bring to your garden. Stephen Ryan, Angus Stewart and Tino Carnevale had a ball meeting so many GA viewers and they loved chatting about your gardens.

For those of you in Victoria, mark October 1-3 in your diaries for the Melbourne GA Expo at Caulfield Racecourse and sample all the new stages yourself, and come and meet Stephen, John and Jane.

I hope to see you there,

Tim Mitchell, Executive Producer

GARDENING AUSTRALIA FORUMS

The post-moderation trial went extremely well and enabled people to have their submitted posts viewed immediately and answered much faster and so we are pleased to announce that it will now be an ongoing feature.

This means that on weekdays (from Mondays at 9:00am until Fridays at 5:00pm (AEST), the forums will be post-moderated that your posts will appear as soon as you send them.

The Messageboard rules still apply and posts will be removed if they breach these, but this new format means that people will be able to get responses a lot faster than before.

Thank you to all our forum contributors and we hope that this will make the system much more user friendly.
