***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

The passing of Kevin Heinze is very sad news for the whole of the gardening world.  Kevin was one of the pioneers of gardening on radio and television, through programs such as 'Sow What', and a mentor to others such as Jane Edmanson.

As well as being a knowledgeable and skilled gardener, Kevin was a kind, gentle, and modest man whose contribution to horticulture will not be forgotten.  Our thoughts are with his family.

As a tribute to Kevin, Gardening Australia has posted the story that Jane Edmanson did with Kevin only a few years ago in his own garden at abc.net.au/gardening.
