Join the conversation | Plant of the Week | | EUCOMIS The 15 species in this genus are found mainly in the summer-rainfall eastern parts of southern Africa. They are all perennial bulbs and are members of the hyacinth (Hyacinthaceae) family. These striking plants make attractive longlasting cut flowers; they are also ideal subjects for greenhouse culture. New strains and cultivars appear regularly, ensuring their continued popularity.
