- Remove spent flowers to extend show on flowering annuals
- Check that mulch isn't touching stems as this can bring on rot
- Get to know the good bugs and bad bugs in the garden. Regular checks mean that you can get on top of pests more effectively
- Prune spring flowering shrubs after flowering
