There is no denying that gardening and growing some food has been a positive way that many people have spent time at home during the months of lockdown. Add to this, the role that parks and the outdoors have played as well. I know from being out in my garden on the street verge just how many families have been walking and cycling around at least once and for many two or three times a day. Our outdoor environments have been a real saviour for people and a critical part of their daily physical and mental health release routine. One of my priceless memories of this has to be the regular visit to worms by my two young neighbours, Alyssa and Max. Like absolute clockwork at roughly 4:30pm you can be guaranteed to see them riding up the hill on their scooters to come and visit.. | | | | |
